Today I SWATCH every shade in the NEW Morphe 35R Palette aka Morphe Ready Set Gold palette. I give you an honest Morphe review whilst giving you the Morphe 35R palette swatches and demo. I have a Morphe 35R palette tutorial coming soon that is an easy cut crease feat morphe 35r eyeshadow palette, so get ready for that one.
So a quick review of this palette is WOW, if you love neutral looks this has a great selection of both neutral and shimmery shadows. There are plenty of matte shades to choose from that complement the stunning metallic shades. It is very easy to create a look, as all the shadows can work together beautifully. As you will see from the swatches the metallic shades are SO pigmented and full of amazingness.
The matte shades blend seamlessly and easily, I have no complaints about them either. Morphe are really picking up their game in the makeup industry. I love how they have the matte shades on the left hand side and the metallic shades on the right. It’s great for my OCD.
I wish the packaging had a clear lid like there 25A and 25B palette, because I love being able to look into the palette and see what it is. I hope they begin to introduce more clear packaging in the future products, but we will see.
There are 35 pans that include 2 satin and slight shimmer shades, 15 metallic finish shades and 18 mattes. The cost breakdown is about $0.67 US per pan. Which is a great deal.
On the Morphe website the 35R palette is $22.99 US, I then used a discount code, I think it was Jaclyn Hills discount code, which brought the price down to $20.70 which saved me $2.29, not a huge deal, but whatever helps make it cheaper is great!
I then paid $22.75 US for shipping to Australia, which nearly gave me a heart attack because the shipping price is CRAZY. In total to purchase this palette and get it delivered to my house it came to $43.45 US. Converted to my Australian dollar is came to around $58.03. Which is not cheap for an eyeshadow palette. I wish Morphe would introduce better shipping rates for their international customers, as I almost didn’t purchase this due to the high shipping rate.
However taking this into consideration the cost per pan for the $58.03 AUD price comes to $1.67 AUD per pan. When I think of it like this it makes feel better because that’s not too outrageous as long as I am going to use all 35 pan, which I plan to.
Overall I do recommend this palette if you are a neutral lover, even beginners would benefit from this because you wouldn’t have to panic about what colours to choose as you can pick almost anything and they will look great together. The matte shades aren’t revolutionary, however they is a wide selection available which is fantastic. I’m most impressed about the metallic shades, I get so excited to swatch them and put them on my face because they are really gorgeous.
Let me know if you have this palette and how you feel about it, I’m interested to know your experience with it, and Im sure everyone watching would love to read about your experience aswell.
Now sit back and relax, and enjoy the rest of the swatching.
